CAI conducts weekly employment orientations (typically Monday mornings, please call the office location to verify orientation is scheduled). During the orientation, job duties, special requirements and job locations are discussed, there is also a question and answer session. The intent of this orientation is to inform potential applications about what the job will entail and to inform about hours that are currently open. CAI also takes this time to notify potential employees about the required background checks; CAI is required by DHS/DDSD to check criminal backgrounds and community registry. CAI is prohibited from employing persons with some offenses.

Background Checks

Once this is completed, if someone is interested they are welcome to complete an application. Those applications will be forwarded to the appropriate supervisor for further screening. The respective supervisor will determine which applicants to interview. If hired, new hire paperwork will be completed and the required training will begin; background checks will be requested and references must be checked.
